Hey Everyone-
I just bought my first boat! It's a nicely redone '87 Larson DC-150 powered by an '87 Classic 50. At least, that is what I think it is. The serial number has been painted over and I can't read it. Can anyone verify that this is an '87 Classic 50?

Anyway, I am about to disconnect the oil injection system and pre-mix my gas. When I turn the key, the alarm beeps non-stop whether the engine is running or not. I have heard many stories about failing oil injection, so I'm just going to bypass it.
My understanding is that I will need a new fuel line from the tank to the engine, and I will need to ground out the wire to the oil level sensor. I'm guessing the oil level sensor is in the oil tank on the floor.
I've seen some videos where guys remove the drive shaft from the oil pump and cap off all the hose connections. Do I need to do that as well?
Thanks!
