Hi guys,

I've just taken off the float on the WMA 6 carburettor, and the pointed conical tip of the needle, is not worn however is black. My question is, is the tip made of rubber or is it just dirty metal??

The rest of the carburettor looks fairly clean. I understand from reading the manual that I shouldn't use carb cleaner on any rubber components thus the question.

I look forward to your reply. Thanks in advance.
