Looking for some help from the Cruisers Yachts owners or anybody that might have some info. I recently purchased a 1987 Holiday 26 and I'm trying to find out about the bilge layout. Had the boat at the slip for a few days now and haven't had any real issues with water in the bilge other than usual amounts, maybe an inch or inch and a half in the stern. The last two days we have had a lot of rain and now I notice that the rear bilge is maybe about a 1/2 inch higher, not enough to trip the float switch but the bilge in the cabin has about three inches to four inches. Not to the top of the reservoir for the grey water, the six inch square box with the pump and float switch for the grey water, but more than I am comfortable with. I've manually run the rear bilge pump in the engine bay and only got a small amount out of the drain but the level in the front doesn't seem to be going down. I guess my question is, is the bilge open from the bow to the stern on these boats or are there two separate bilge areas and if it is two separate bilges where is the pump for the forward one????
