Who rebuilds these power trims or can I buy a kit or is there an aftermarket location to purchase components?

what is wrong?

drifting down would be the valve body. last I knew nobody was selling replacements. check ebay for a mail-off rebuild. internally the same as a chrysler valve body. anybody who can rebuild chrysler can also rebuild evinrude johnson versions (Prestolite).

not running would be the trim motor or switch. the chinese motor is decent enough and cheap. spray it with a coat of flex-seal if you plan on going anywhere close to salt, swamp, or mineral quarry water.

the trim sensor fitting tends to leak and the inside of port cylinder. a good cleaning & a set of new seals should fix that. P/N # 0172575

your tilt cylinder (right side) should go almost forever or until the top shaft wiper begins to crack. When the wiper starts to crack or harden then the cylinder should be rebuilt immediately before any water damage occurs. When the engine lowers by gravity or under power there can be a negative pressure in top of ram and a bad top seal can let water in.

Thanks Commander, I should have said the unit was drifting down. Motor seems fine and the unit lifts it just falls.
