I have a 1987 force 125 and the trim cylinder has a slow leak. Naturally, it stopped working all together due to the lack of fluid. I refilled the pump and all works fine but I can clearly see a very small amount of fluid on and around the shaft when it is fully extended. The tilt cylinders are holding just fine. The boat mechanics around here wouldn't rebuild them, only replace the whole unit. I paid less for the whole thing than a new TNT would cost! I can't seem to find any instructions on how to remove and replace seals and what seals/parts I should be looking to replace

Only the lower trim unit is leaking, the lift cylinders are holding just fine, had it up for 2 days now without any signs of dropping. Would replacement of the o-rings alone solve my problem or do I need to replace the cover assembly

IF??? you can get the trim ram out???????
The 5 screws are very easily broken :(

One tiny drop and it's still holding up?
I'd say use it.
Or look for the whole system??
Sometimes you can get the complete motor cheaper than just the T@T unit.
