Okay I catch crap for this new thread from the tin boys but all well. Getting ready to start my second restore project,(even though my star craft is only 2% done lol) figure I would try to do both and see which one gets done first. I have my first boat I ever owned back in my possession. It's a 87 four winns deck boat candida 210. Original power was the 4.3 and alpha one out drive. Interior has been gutted out, mostly. It is a heavy boat and even though the 4.3 did nice, I would like more power, lol. Going to reporter with a 350 and possibly new outdrive.( at least make sure I get the correct ratio). The gel coat is very oxidized. It used to be maroon and gray, now kinda chalky white and gray. Not much experience in getting oxidation out. Also I know it will be a lot of work to convert over to a v-8. Will welcome any and all ideas and all the hackling I will recieve from the star-armada for this :peep:

Overall all the structure is solid no rot. That's only because I got it still running 6 years ago and kept it covered 98% time. It's a great family boat and been reading some of friscoboaters threads, makes me feel that much more confident. Weather needs to change soon, I'm itching to get started again. Wondering how my sons will feel about which boat gets splashed first.
