I wasn't happy with the outcome of the original detail job, still a lot of haze in the gel coat. I picked up some 3M super duty compound and really went to town with the buffer with a lambs wool pad and got all the haze removed from the gel coat. I had to concentrate on small areas (18" by 6"). On compound angles, I used some 800 grit paper and wet sanded first. After the compound I buffed again with some fine glaze and wool pad to get the compound scratches out then used some auto magic banana wax with a foam pad on the buffer to really bring out the shine. She looks really sweet now! My knuckles are dragging!

That looks great. Do you have any before pictures? You are pretty close to me. Want to come over and give me a hand with my cruiser? :D:D
