1987 johnson head gasket

Rebuilding a 1987 johnson 175. Bored .040 over. The head gaskets I got seem like maybe could hang over little bit into cylinder. Surprise no dowels to keep gasket 100% square. Do I need to worry about or there oversized gaskets available?

They will be fine just up the main jets by .002...

Ok sounds good. Any idea part number on water deflectors in block? Wanna replace since there.

Hey faztbullet. When you say up mains by .002. You talking getting 63 main instead of the 61? If so, where can I find. Or you talking attempt to bore .002 " out. No way for me measure that small bore.... Thanks

The old part # was 321559 ....
