Picked up this boat back in May2010. The look and ride just kept calling me back, and we looked at several others. Wanted a nice ski boat for the family and something I could fish off of occasionally with out breaking the bank. We have had the boat out all summer with no problems. Knock on wood... Engine is sound and quick out of the hole. The exterior is in good shape overall. Gel coat still buffs up nicely, but I see a wrap, graphics or re-gel in the near future to. Current graphics are coming off regardless.

Anyway, enough of the story and why I am here. The interior of this boat appears to have seen some fun times over it 23 year life. Seats all need reupholstered, soft spots near jump seats and around ski locker. Carpet is okay but needs to be replaced as well. So I figured while I am at it let's do it right the first time. So here is the plan I have in my head at this point.

1) gut boat seats and floor
2) determine what is salvageable and store
3) locate floor repairs and remove
4) inspect stingers post floor removal (obvious I would think)
5) Ask iboats LOTS of questions and for help
6) provide several images with post updates
7) pray I don't open this up and find a larger project
8) Help wife understand it's for her safety and future resale if ever needed.

Anyway, the beer is cold and I am rambling on now. Tonight we pulled the seats and a few trim pieces. More to come. This may be a slow thread at times as I only have weekends and with kids that can even be a challenge to find time. I'll take any help, suggestions, notice of problems, pitfalls, free labor.;)

Thanks and look forward to seeing how this goes. Here we go!
