Just acquired my very first boat -- a 1987 Larson Citation DC-175. The seller says the engine runs very well. The boat interior, on the other hand, is a VERY different story. Apparently, is was parked in a garage under the only hole in the roof. The seller got the boat and ripped out the interior due to rot. He installed green-treat plywood for flooring, and the restoration ended there. The side boards seem to be in need of replacement as well as all seating. The bow benches are still there, but the cushions are in absolute terrible condition. I've contacted Larson, hoping to get some drawings, etc., etc., of what did my boat look like (for the interior configuration) when new. Does anyone have suggestions about how to locate this type of information and/or suggestions for replacing seating, and so on. The seller said he was going to install two buckets seats (driver and passenger) and two jump seats besides (a newly-constructed) motor cabinet. I'm really lost as to where/how to get a good "start point" of what was and what I might do. Many thanks. Happy boating to all!!!
