The thermostat, if one exists, would either be under the exhaust manifold cover on older models, or under a separate, smaller cover on newer models.
You'll need to note your serial number, then if you look up the parts diagram for your motor at the following listed site, you should be able to figure this out:

Note that depending on which diagram you look at, there is either a separate listing for the "exhaust and manifold covers", and if you don't see that, check under the "cylinder block" listing.
IMHO you're most likely to not have a 'stat but the diagrams will confirm or deny.
BTW are you having some sort of cooling problem that leads you to believe there's a thermostat involved??
