My trim motor is not engaging to raise or lower the motor. When I hit the button both selonoids click but nothing else so I replaced both of them and still have just clicking.

So I removed the 3 trim motor wires (Black, Blue and Green) from the harness and tried to jump it directly to the battery and still nothing just sparks.

I then figured the motor is probably bad so I tried to remove it by first removing the 6 bolts (3 on each side) on the bottom of the motor mount. Now I just need to remove the top pin and Bingo I can test it off the boat and replace it if needed. WRONG, the top pin apparently has what's called a notch or grove pin in the front of the bracket that needs to be removed before you can remove the main pin and remove the trim assembly.

How do you get the grove pin out? It's about the width of a number 2 pencil and sits flush with the bracket with no hammer swing room from the front or very little room. Please tell me there's a trick or a special tool that someonel sells that will remove it.
