I am thinking of buying a 25' Wellcraft Sportsman with a 235 HP Sea Drive. The Drive bracket and engine are in great shape other than the 2 hydrulic lines on the bracket need to be replaced because of rust and splitting. The Port to Starboard pivot pin for the engine seems to be badly rusted and pitted and painted over but does not need to be replaced. My questions are, I have heard that these brackets are no longer being made and some parts are no longer available. Do you know what parts are no longer avail.? Hyd. piston, lines, hinge pins etc? Also does this part shortage affect all sea drive brackets or just certian models? I really like the boat but i do not want to purchase something for 15,000.00 that if it needs a repair i can not get parts and will have to replace the entire bracket assy. Also how would i be able to tell if this engine was one of the ones that is mounted to low and could ingest water?<br />Thank You very much for your help<br />Bill
