OK I just got my first "real" boat. Are any of you folks Sea Ray aficionados? I'd like top know where, besides Mercruiser shop manuals, I can get more info an this vintage of Sea Ray Boats. I thought that I was buying a Seville and it ended up being a Monaco. What are the differences. I think the Monaco was a higher trim level? It has the 260 Mercruiser and appears to be in decent shape. If anyone knows where I can get an orginal sales brochure, owners manual? Ebay doesn't have anything at the moment. I look forward to spending much time here learning as much as I can about my boat and boating. I also belong to The Diesel Truck Resource website and if I learn half as much about boats from you guys as I learned about my truck from them i will be very happy.

Thanks in advance for any info. Hurry up Spring!

There are lots of sea ray folks here, I personally own a 1983 SRV-210.

You'll probably learn a lot more about boats here than you did about trucks there... we seem to be blessed with a lot of pros on this board.

I hope I didn't offend anyone by saying I might only learn half as much here. I guess that the comparison I was trying to make is that the two sights are very similar in the number of knowledgeable members and the decent atmosphere, (a sight full of grown-ups and not macho squabblin kids) I look forward t ospending alot of time here, just hopefully asking basic questions and not full blown repair questions.
