1987 Sea Ray Monaco refab

I just acquired a 87 sea ray monaco and it is basically a hull. I am ripping out all the old rotten floor and and gonna check all the stringers. This is my first resto and i am hoping for some good advice. The boat had all the motor "stuff" taken out. If someone can send a pic of the engine compartment and the mount and how it looks it would be great. I will have pics up very soon.

Thanx for the post. I usually work dark to dark and 6-7 days a week but I found time today to do a couple of things...pulled out all chairs and everything topside, got the fuel tank removed, cleaned the inside a little and removed the wall where the drink compartment thingy is. I only intend on repairing soft spots and customizing the topside area with my little touch. The inside is in unusually good condition minus needing to be super cleaned. The previous owners took the fuse block so it looks like i get to wire all my own stuff.:facepalm: Oh well, I have been reading threads so i hope you guys can help cause it looks like you know what you are doing. Thanx again and i will have pics soon i promise.

Hey ncfloyd, welcome. I'm right there with you project-wise. My Monaco is an '84 but it doesn't look like the design changed a whole lot to '87. You can take a look at my thread here: http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=537818 Tomorrow I'm tearing out the rest of the floor. Good luck!
