Hey guys,
I have a 1987 suzuki dt65. Fired it up in the test tank tonight and initially it started up and ran fine for about a minute. Then it makes a squeaking noise and dies. It also seems to be idling high even when at it's lowest possible idle setting. To me this indicates it's running lean. Lean sneeze or something more sinister?

Sounds like lean sneeze. Clean carbs

whats strange is that it ran fine and this sneeze started and the water pump flow diminished severely. Took it apart today and had a thermostat failure. Think they're related or just a coincidence?

Got the new thermostat and all is fine now. The lean sneeze stopped for some reason after replacing the thermostat. Thanks for the help everyone.
