1987 Yamaha 115 CDI Needed

I'm looking for a used Yamaha 115 CDI, or the best place to buy one new. <br /><br />I had a no spark problem and was sold a used CDI a few weeks ago. As soon as I took it out, I noticed the engine misfires at around 4000 RPMs. It's fine above or below, just misfires at 4000. <br /><br />I bought a manual for the engine and I've rebuilt the carbs, all the jets were clean. I also checked the fuel pump for tears in the diaphram too.<br /><br />It's not a stator problem either, I think he sold me a bad CDI.<br /><br />If anyone knows where or from whom to best find a deal, I'd greatly appreciate it!<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Brendan

Even though I do have such an animal, I seriously doubt that the CDI you have now is defective from your description of the problem. First I would recheck the timing and link and sync the carbs. I would also replace the fuel pump.
