1987 Yamaha 150 hp hours

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum. I am in the process of buying a 1987 Wellcraft V20 with a 1987 Yamaha 150 hp outboard motor with 906 hrs. It appears to be well care for. Is that a lot of hours for this motor? Paying $5500 for the boat package.

if this is a saltwater motor pay very very very close attention to the shift shaft.
if its corroding and starting to hourglass run run run away.
