WHAT WOULD PEOPLE SAY THIS MOTOR WILL DO ON A 15FT SKI BOAT<br />AND MIGHT I ADD FOR PEOPOLE WHO WANT TO DITCH THE FORCE MOTORS THERE IS NOTING WRONG WITH THEM THEY ARE THE EASYISET MOTOR TO WORK ON AND IF YOU CAN BUY PARTS FOR A MERC YOU CAN BUT THEM FOR FORCE I HAVE FOUND THAT FORCE MOTOR A MORE SIMPLE COMMPARED TO ALL OF THE JOHNSON V4 AND JOHNSON V6 I HAVE HAD

Gday, Commdore.<br /><br />Welcome to iboats. :) <br /><br />Most outboards with 1960s technology are easy to work on. Same for 1960s vehicles.<br /><br />Many home wrenches prefer the simpler engines, so if that is your preference, go for it. It should give you plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty.<br /><br />"Ski boat" covers a lot of territory, so it is impossible to calculate theoretical top speed without more detail, such as bottom type, weight, etc. <br /><br />For example, if your boat has a relatively flat bottom and weighs about 1500lb (725Kg) on the water the theoretical top speed would be about 55mph if ideally propped and rigged.<br /><br />By the way, please don't post in all capitals.
