1988 2.3 L LIMA ENGINE BLOCK id

Folks I have searched everywhere. Please help. I have a 1988 Sportsman Bluefin 1900 Tin boat. 2.3 l 4 cylinder, cobra out drive Ford metric valve cover. Lima engine I am told. I can not find the block id number. I have asked so many people I am about burned out. I have looked with a flash light and mirror. No luck. Does anyone know where it is ? Thanks :mad-new:

the OMC serial number is on the side of the block just above the starter

the Ford casting numbers are on the block, just below cylinder #4 spark plug

its a pinto/ranger motor used by OMC what specific information are you looking for?
