1988 2.3 OMC - rain

1988 omc 2.3 dosent like the rain .she runs fine in dry weather but i took her out in the rain and she starts fine but will die when giveing her the juice .anyone have a cure for moisture problums ? cap fits tight and is new wires are the same all new
i hope i did this right
