500.(or less) to 5000. (or more)

On a boat that old it's about condition. If the floor is shot, the rails bent up, and the motor won't start - 500. (maybe!). If it's just been fully restored and has a late model motor on it, probably closer to 5000.

Some pics and a little more info regarding the one you're talking about might help get closer?

Steve,
Visit the Evinrude engine section of this site and ask folks there about the challenges of maintaining that engine. That may help you decide.

Small (old) boat, small motor and no trailer. They'd be lucky to get $2k around here but I'm a long way from Wisconsin. That said, it has a brand new LU, so if everything checks out and it works for you maybe do like he said and make him an offer? I wouldn't pay more than $2k for it.

^^^ $2k was top stop for me on that one too, and that may be a little high without a trailer.

I like the OB if it's in good shape.

like veryone says Without a trailer 2k tops and that's in good shape. Water tested good and no hint of soft spots in floor. I picked up a 87 20' w eeres with 60hp evinrude and new trailer for $2900 and i think i paid to much. Needed new floor and no top, furniture was in fair shape but didn't matter to me cause stripping it for fishing rig.
