^^+1. May get it right by tweaking it. If not, might screw out the l.s. needle and spray in there with some carb cleaner, using the plastic nozzle. Then lightly seat the needle again, and back it out 1 1/2 turns -- start over on the adjustment. Start the eng. and warm it up, then turn clockwise (leaner) by 1/8 turns until the engine coughs or stalls. The turn the needle 1/4 turn counterclockwise. This should be close to an optimum setting. Need to be doing this in the lake or in a tank, as the motor needs back pressure for tuning adjustments. Should be doing idle adjustments warm and in gear, but have to admit I most often do the idle setting in neutral. With the mix set properly, though, should be able to shift into gear without stalling (idle around 6/700 rpms when in gear).
btw, there should be a lead shot up on top of the carb, somewhere around or in front of the aluminum core plug. If that is not in place, need to replace it.
