After several hours of searching and reading this forum, I found my problem!!

Here's the deal... the rubber hose that runs from the primer solenoid to a "manifold" next to the fuel/vro pump, has been pinched behind the starter and has a hole in it. Obviously this can't be good and I'll fix it in the morning... will this cause the engine to have a hard time revving???

The engine runs fine until you give it much throttle, then it refuses to rev up. If the rubber hose that I described above has a hole in it,I don't see how that can keep it from revving because it should rev for a few seconds until the carb bowls are emptied... correct??

Obviously I'm gonna find out for sure tomorrow, anyone have other thoughts?

Thanks,
Randy
