Not sure what to think of this. I was testing out my engine after replacing the stator this evening. ( Been having issues and old one tested out of specs). Runs better and can achieve faster revs, but still misses now and then. I also noticed that there was a small amount of a milkey colored oil comming out of both exhuast ports on the upper part of the shaft. Does this mean I have water leaking into the cylinders. I have read that this could be whats causing the high speed miss also. What do you pros think?

Was really hoping the stator was going to end my problems.

Pull the spark plugs and have a look. Really clean plugs indicate water. If you had a bad stator that was causing a loss of spark it could have sucked water into the engine and you're now blowing it out... It might take a fast run for a few minutes to clear all the residue water....

achris, thanks for taking the time to reply. I did pull the plugs and they were both pretty dirty and oily. I'll replace them tomorrow and do as you suggested. Thanks again
