I have a indmar 351w. Its a comp ski boat. 4160 marine carb. It is bogging at higher speeds. It runs fine for 15 mins then starts bogging on me. Im not sure if its a bog or a miss. But trying to ease into the throttle will just kill it once it starts so i think its a bog. Now i had it running great yesterday. No bogging but i had the back seat and floor panel out. The engine cover was on though. I put the floor and back seat in today. Could it be an air problem? Its not getting enough aurflow? It smelled like slot of gas. New plugs. Autolite 14s gapped at 30. New wires. New rotor new distributor cap. New starter. New fuel filter and fuel water seperator. Last year i put a new coil in. As well. Please help!!!

Also after it started bogging i brought it back to the dock i opened the engine cover up and it immediately died and wouldnt fire. I waited 15 minutes and it fired right over ran good for 15 mins and did the same thing.

Had that happen to me a few years back. Changed the fuel pump and filter; problem solved. I would definitely start there. Good luck.

i know you said new coil but it sounds like coil to me. 15 mins coil gets hot and dies, repeating.
