I have a 1988 evinrude 70 hp that seems to have different carbs. The bottom two are the same and the top one is a little different. I went to marineengine.com and ordered bolts that hold the the plastic air silencer base to the carbs and they only fit the top carb. The bottom carb bolts are a little smaller. That seems like the top carb is original and bottom two are not. Is this usually the case. And if I were to buy the rebuild kits would it make a difference.
