Just bought a 1988 Chris Craft Amerisport 250 with the 460 V8.
Runs and drives great. Only 260 hours on the gauge, hope its correct.
I have several questions that I'm hoping a service manual and an owners manual would help answer.
Does anyone know where I can buy (even just a copy) of the complete specs and owners manual for this boat? I'd pay in advance and include shipping. I just need the correct specs, maintenance and service, and owners manual so I can keep it up.
One question I have that I'm hopeful will be resolved by the above paperwork is how do I check the trim tab system. They do not work and I was told in advance that they did not. I'm assuming there is a step by step process used to eliminate items and work myself to the culprit.
Really love this boat and would like to fix this problem myself if at all possible.
Next how can i determine what the bulkhead fittings on the port side are for.
The starboard side has been tested and there are 4. Engine compartment bilge outlet; lavatory sink outlet, shower bilge outlet and hull bilge outlet.
The port side has one for the kitchen sink outlet and one more that I cannot find any use for. It's aft of the kitchen outlet by @ 30 inches.
Really do hope to get some direction here since it's the place to go. If no one has any knowledge of this boat or a source to go to I'm gonna have an even tougher time getting these types of questions resolved.
