16 years & 1200 hrs - Kinda average. You will see in some places that the average boater runs 50 hrs a year. So much for averages. In my opinion, care and good maintenance are more important than age or hours. There are some good guidelines though for I/Os such as 4-5 yrs for risers & manifolds if run in salt water and 5-6 for fresh. You may also see that an I/O rig is "usually" good for 1-2,000 hrs. if given good care.
