1988 Johnson 88 spl compression

I went to look at a 1988 Johnson 88 spl. It hasnt run in over a year. I did a compression check and they were all btween 85 and 90 lbs. Is that low or is that normal beacuse it wasnt warm and had no gas and oil in it?

that would be low in my mind. did you do it with all the plugs out, and turned the motor over till the guage quit rising? a decarb may help it.
