Anyone able to help out: do you know how to add a little drag/friction to steering on 88spl, if I let go of wheel boat instantly swings abruptly there seems to be a complete and conspicuous lack of drag on steerin column. My 6hp tiller its easy, there's a little drag screw right on column but I don't know how on 88spl, think its somewhere on cable coupler and linkage assembly at motor end of things. Can't seem to find it in the books or CDs.Alan

Often the tab isn't enough. You might consider changing to NFB (no feedback) steering.
There is no friction adjustment on that motor. You are an exception, 99% of steering complaints are it turns too hard. And you want to tighten it up. Seriously, do consider NFB. They sell it here at iboats.
