Hi
I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me out on this site, you guys are great and very knowledgeable thanks..
After over heating and nearly setting on fire my engine i have taken the case covers off to show the gasket, the thermostats are pretty new so don't think its them.
I cleaned the salt deposits out of the heads and in the morning i'm going to put the heads back on with the gaskets, i got new hoses and cleaned the thermostat housing, theres a new impeller and new plugs.
so fingers crossed i cant see what else it could be to cause the engine to overheat or at least the alarm to go off.
any thing else i should do before my next voyage?
