Just wondering if anyone knows where i can pull up on the computer a diagram of all fuel line /primer line connections???????????ITS A MESSSSSSSSSS.1988 Johnson 150 VRO...........
very simple when you step back and look at it. you have supply from hose connection to vro pump, you have the pulse line to vro pump. you have an out going line from vro, that splits to the carbs, and the primer, IN connection. you have the primer out line that splits to the carbs, and the block. take one system at a time. it is not rocket science.
Primer lines ok /VRO Lines ok / Its the block lines i believe .Can some of them be crossed. The guy who owned it before me made a mess i think.I have #1 and #6 cylinders fouling out.And i see what looks like oil mix or fuel leaking out under top carb /but not fromthe carb /i believe it is from one of the lines at the nipple on the back of block and leaving a puddle on top of middle carb. That is why i am wondering if these lines could be hooked up wrong.Lot of diff. T`s there /but i am sure of primer lines. What do you think about this fouling out 2 cylinders????????/GOING NUTS HERE///////////////
Thank you /Both of you /Looks like i will be pulling this apart again tomorrow.Does this sound or seem like my misfiring and running crappie oil leaking motor problem............thanks again John..................
Just went and double checked that and that is allset. Those lines are hooked up properly.1 to the top of each carb correct??1 by itself and the other ones off the T to the other 2 carbs.
Well it turns out i pulled out all the check valves and most were plugged up.Put it all back together and purred like a kitten.BINGO/but got to the boat ramp and she was all flooded out.Why oh Why.Got home ran fine after sitting in the driveway.Seems as though during travel she floods out.WHY/////// I am getting close now...............
Is this common in that motor and is that all it could be?????????Sounds like the problem to me.Thanks again for all the help .We are getting somewhere.........
