I bought a 1988 DC 170 with an inboard motor. There are fuses on the dashboard but I don't see to what. On the top left of the dash is a fuse that is blown. I stuck another one in and it blew too. Does anybody know what this goes to?

Does anyone know where I can buy a manual on this boat or if one is online where to find it. I seem to be going around in circles on this.

Thanks in advance.

(That ain't the boat in the picture)

Don't waste your time looking for a manual... The fuses and switches could be to anything and could have been changed many times in nearly 30 years since new. Plus, even if you found a manual it wouldn't say a thing about it.

You are gonna have to start trouble shooting and tracing wiring till you figure it out.

Ok, ran it down and found the blower is the one the fuse blows at. Unhooked it and fuse was good. It checks to be bad. I unhooked it and after I get it started will buy one. Next step, to get to fire.

I ran across a manual online. I see what you meant.

Thanks for you both responding to the post. I'm learning as I go.
