Motor Runs Like A Champ Starts Right Up , When Ever I Remove The Motor Cover , It’s Like Someone Sprayed Oil/Gas Everywhere , Is This Common For The In-line 6’?

Whats The Best Way To Clear This Up?

Thanks Mike

No it is not.------On the starboard side of the motor there is a wee oil recirculation line.-----Comes from the bottom of the motor and goes to top bearing.---Find it and inspect it.-----Serial # of your motor ?

Just hose it off. 2 cycle oil is real thin and should wash off. if not, the "Purple Stuff" cleaner will easily remove it.
