1988 Merc 150hp Black Max - no start - no spark on 4 0f 6 plugs

Just bought the boat. Started once after cleaning up the engine. I don't get spark on 4 cyllinders. Wires look good. Seems to be intermittent. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Will get manual asap. Thanks in advance!

No spark on 4 makes me think of the trigger. Each trigger winding triggers 2 cyliners. It could also be a switch box but that should only kill 3. Good luck.
