When you say "nosecone", are you saying you've got a lower-water pickup?

c/6
Hooty

Here's one from Bob's Machine Shop. It's the best one I've found and I don't like it. I finally broke down and spent fifty bones for a 2'X2'X4' livestock watering tank. It's big enough to get the l/u in with the waterpump submerged, just like running in the lake.

Bob's Machine Shop

c/6
Hooty

Another thought: you might look here at the iboats Mega Mall. I've found a coupla items here that I trouble locating anywhere else.

Not sure if it will apply to your case but "Land and Sea" has a nose cone flusher kit p/n 629-001
Just a urethane adapter( for garden hose) and bungee cord. Approx. $50.00
:)

Hooty, I didnt like them either. I tried just about every one I found. I just got used to pulling the hose off the fittings and added water there.

Thank again guys, whats the problem with the ones you have tried? Was the impeller able to pull the water up into the upper unit? Or it wasn't getting enough water through the hose? I'm new to this so i'm trying to get familure with how it works.
Thanks agian
nick

I worry about 'em not putting enough water up to the waterpump. When you try on you'll see how much water they leak and ya wonder (or I do) how much water is getting to the pump.

Get one of those watering trouths (sp) and when you're not using it, the wife and kids can bathe in it.

c/6
Hooty

make your own using soft rubber tube thats a neat fit in to the cooling holes so it won't fall out.
drill a plastic block so you can glue the pipe in the holes. then drill a larger hole in it that a connects the to smaller pipe holes and attach a hoze lock fitting more glue.add a velcro saftey strap
