1988 Mercury 8hp no spark on bottom cylinder!!

Hello all,

I am working on a Mercury 8hp 0B253526 2 stroke 2 cylinder! I have no spark on bottom cylinder! Here is what I tested

Trigger 770 ohms specs 650-850
Stator 142 ohms specs 120-180
3320 ohms specs 3200-3800
Wire to wire 3400 ohms specs 3100-3800

I pulled the flywheel and inspected stator and trigger, nothing looks burnt or corroded! Actualy is very clean!! I have flip flopped coils and same problem occurs, spark on top cylinder but not on bottom! Top cylinder compressed to 115psi and bottom 110psi!! Can I be confident to buy a new switchbox? Can I hook trigger wires up backwards to switchbox to move the spark to other cylinder to prove the box is bad? What you guys think?

yes you can switch the wires and see if the power pack is sending to the coil.
