1988 omc 2.3 no power

i have 1988 omc 2.3 stern drive .just rebuilt motor installed it .and was running fine .went to lake and nothing no click no nothing i have power going to celonide .i can jump the celanoide and stater will engage but nothing with key tested key switch and it tested fine . battery all charged full please help thank you

Neutral safety switch in the throttle/gearshift control???? Try moving the gearshift a bit while trying to start

hi guys
i got it started but i dont know why! i installed a new key switch .but it started before i got it in .so i dont know for shure .the motor startes so good all i have to do is hit the key and she goes .
