I recently purchased this motor and these bolts were missing. There are the 4 stainless bolts just above the catavation plate which are there, I just purchased a new trim tab but the bolt for that cannot be ordered. There is also 2 other bolt locations in back of the trim tab, 1 is for the zinc and I thing the other one holds the lower unit together. Can someone please tell me what size bolts these are or where I can order them from, I could go to the hardware store but I might end up walking out with a hundred bolts and none may fit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Your best bet is to go to the BRP parts catalog for your specific motor and look at the gearcase diagram.

The bolt numbers will be listed in the gearcase parts list so that you can select the ones that you need and get them from your nearest dealer.

You can either download the diagram and list, or select the specific parts and print a shopping list:

BTW, there is no reason that a nearby OMC/BRP dealer could not get those for you, but the on-line dealers like ishopmarine.com will if they are too busy.

I had to get two bolts of unknown size and thread and I ordered them online from crowleymarine.com . They have the BRP parts diagrams online, too.
