Well fellas, we loved the SeaOx enough to drop some cash into it and repower. The only issue with the boat to this point has been the old Johnson motors. They're a pain to start, sometimes struggle to idle and drink some serious gas!
We decided on the Twin Yamaha F150s for our 1988 Sea Ox 250c. They'll be replacing 1988 twin 150 Johnson. The boat is being upgraded at Sommers Point Marina as I type this. I'll post pictures of the progress when I can.
So far Sommers Point Marina has been great! Very aggressive pricing and have answered all my emails really fast. And I've emailed them a ton
I'd definitely recommend them.
Work to be done:
Twin Yamaha F150s
New Controls
Command Link Gauges
New Steering cylinders
2 Reliance SS props
Installing 2 new Group 31 batteries
Adding a second battery switch
Fresh Bottom Paint
Garmin B60 through hull transducer installation
In water break in and water test upon delivery
