1988 Skeeter SF 175 SX-- Bilge coming on...

Hello all,

My bilge pump is coming on about every 30 minutes or so. This is my first boat, so I was wandering if the water could be coming in from one of the holes on the transom.. is there any other areas that need drain plugs or maybe some type of valve? Yes, I have the main plug in and the live well plug in. Thanks for any input!!!

The simplest way to find the leak is to put water in the boat while it is on the trailer and the plug in it. Then start looking for water coming out. Common places are thru the hull fittings, aerator hoses and aerator pumps.

Thanks, I'll do that. After doing some more research, I think I'll replace all the thru-hull fittings to SS. I've searched the net looking for the sizes I need, but guess I'll have to take them all off first... I was hoping to order all of them and do it quick so I don't have to keep the boat off the water longer than I need to. Any ideas of a website to search? Thanks again!
