im thinking of buying a 1988 205 sportcraft wac,it comes with evinrude 175hp v6 ocean pro.it will be my first boat.is it a money pit?

I have a 1986 Sportcraft 242 Offshore walkaround and love it. See pics in my signature line.

I purchased my first boat, a 1987 205 Sportcraft Offshore several years a go and have had no major problems with it. It seems to be a good solid boat. Mine came with a 175 HP Mercury on it. My only complaint is that this old Mercury is really noisey.

i purchased the same boat with a yamaha115 .Had problems with wiring bt very little problems othewise
