1988 Starcraft Med 1601 - Where to put the trim pump

OK working on my restoration. Thought I took enough pictures and notes before I rebuilt the deck and transom but...
Now I am trying to remember where the trim pump goes. I know it is on the port side of the transom but how high and where and does it matter? OMC 4.3L, OMC Sterndrive
