1988 Starcraft w/Mercruiser 5.0L and Alpha 1 drive unit

I recently purchased the above mentioned boat. It is a Medalist 1901, 19'. After talking with Starcraft they believe it is a Chevy 305c.i., I originally thought it was a Ford. Are there any on-line manuals for the engine and drive unit? We have not started it yet as I am working on the trailer first, so I don't damage the hull any further. Any other info or advice would be appreciated.

For the engine you need Merc. manual #9....

i wish someone would a tol be bout them service manuels. to late for me. ya need one. don't leave any empty coors bottles layin aroun. too much weight. check her over good. maybe the guy did what i did. if ya hear a clinkin noise it's prolly them emptys rollin round.

I just sold a Medalist 1901, It had the 4.3 GM engine..
