Hello,
I'm new to powerboats, and am the proud owner of a SunRay 1900BR with Merc 470. It's in good shape overall. I plan on fixing what needs fixing right away, and other improvements over the winter. The fuel tank is clearly not the original as it is upright against the back of the boat. I assume there is a tank in front of the bilge somewhere that sprung a leak. Easiest fix was probably an external tank. One of the longer term goals us new carpet and upholstery. I'd like to put a new tank under the floor while I am redoing the carpet. Can anyone confirm where the original tank is on the boat, or any tricks to find it?
Thanks,

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Look for it,......

Look up under the deck,....
Look for the hoses to fill or vent it,....
Look, 'n if there's no signs of it's existence, it probably wasn't there,....

Thanks for the welcome and suggestions. I figured that's what I would have to do. It's a 28 year old boat made in Quebec, and there isn't much info out there of any kind; let alone tank location. I'm sure there are other SunRay owners out there, so when I figure it out I'll post it.
