After recently fixing some electrical problems thanks to the guys here at i-boats, my boat is not running right. It starts and idles great but when I start to accelerate it boggs down and stalls. In order to get the boat on a plane I have to flip the choke on and the off and it gives the boat the fuel I suppose. Once on a plane the boat runs great but if I slow down off a plane the load is too much and it boggs down so I choke it back onto a plane.

I am going to drain the fuel but do not know the proper octane, I have been running 93. I sprayed some carb cleaner and it helps a little.

If anyone can help please do. thanks

hello
93 octane wont hurt it but its a waste of your cash. take the carbs and filter apart. clean them thougholy and use new gaskets on reassembly. if you can hit the choke it will force the carb fuel mix to go rich. a compression test first will make sure no damage has been done yet
good luck and keep posting
