My 1988 Yamaha 115 was running recently and had some carb problems but I was cleaning and adjusting as necessary. While driving the boat it started sputtering and then died completely. Once home I found that the main electrical connector in the engine had come apart and 1connecting tooth had broke off. I reconnected it and spliced a wire on either side of the of the connector and the boat started and was running.
A short while after, the boat died and would not restart. The starter was engaging, but there was no spark from the plugs. The kill swith is continous and discontinuous as its supose to. I wasn't sure about the main ignition switch so I bypassed it. The motor cranked over but there is still no spark.

What is the next steps I should check to find where the electrical flow is stopping, and if anyone knows the complete flow of electric from the battery to the spark plugs, please list?
Waiting for your reply's, Thanks
