Last fall my 89, 100hp Mariner would not run at WOT. Coming back across the lake it started slowing down and would only run at 1/2 throttle or less. There was no missing or rough running and it idled fine just wouldn't run wide open. I was going to take to my mechanic only to find he has moved 90 miles away. Not many other mechanics work on these older engines around here. Thanks for any ideas you may have.
