I recently acquired a 1989 230 Wellcraft Coastal with twin 110 Johnson VRO's.
The motors cranked up and ran fine. I noticed that the warning beep did not beep when you turned on the key. I unscrewed the dash and found the signels disconnected. I reconnected them and port engine runs fine.
When the key is turned on the port engine..nothing..no trim, gauge lights,no start. I think I interupted the power to this switch. Can any one help me?

Thanks in advance

Jimmy

sooo...was it related at all to the connection you made on the dash?

I am not sure, the signal still does not work maybe touched a contact to something and shorted it. It starts now. I plan to take the signal from the other side and see if it works.
